♠️ PXF Classic: This week, we feature Alex “AJKHoosier1” Kamberis’ first PXF video series — a six-part $100 rebuy tourney win! Eric “Sheets” Haber introduces Alex by saying he "never thought Alex was great." Then Alex responds by claiming Sheets considers him the best player online. Are they joking? 😂 Watch the first video, then vote below!

Jungleman Feels Manipulated

📺 A better title for this column would be: “What Everyone is Watching!

GGPoker has a hit on its hands with Game of Gold from its Poker After Dark brand. Featuring top poker pros and successful but less established players, the YouTube series mixes reality TV (think Survivor) and high-stakes poker resulting in a new type of poker show that we recommend.

The show is so popular that there are already multiple podcasts reviewing each episode (start with Daniel Negreanu’s recaps, but not until you watch the shows).

Will the Game of Gold make you a better player? Yes, to a degree. It would have been better if we could see every hand played, but there are definitely lessons to be learned, especially from the heads-up matches and the “backroom” commentary from the pros. New episodes will be released three times a week until we get a winner.

Two recommendations: Watch on 1.25 speed, and don’t play a drinking game where you take a shot every time they say: “Let’s Goooooo!” 🥃🍺

♠️ Eric “Rizen” Lynch’s PXF videos are always popular and highly rated (see his 5-part PLO course here). Now you can study with Eric live in a two-day LearnWPT interactive workshop, which also includes Andrew “LuckyChewy” Litchtenberger and Tony Dunst. Plus, the workshop runs in connection to World Poker Tour events with some incredible guarantees. Limited availability — Learn more here!

♦️ Online poker is growing in the United States! West Virginia has joined the “Multi-State Internet Gaming Agreement,” allowing state residents to play against Delaware, Michigan, Nevada, and New Jersey players! Poker sites are happy. 🤩

🤖 This column explores AIs’ progress in mastering poker as well as how it can be a tool to help humans improve.

In our first test, we took a quiz from our friends at LearnWPT and ran it through ChatGPT 3.5, Claude AI 2.0 (one of my favorite AIs), and GPT 4.0. What do you do with 10❤️9❤️ in this spot? (Note: I got it wrong.) Check out the results here!

💡Our PXF Pros were the OG of Exploitative Poker ™, and you can see their brilliant strategies in the PXF Training Center. But we are going to be taking a deep dive into GTO poker strategies in our Newsletters.

If you are GTO Curious, then start with this short video by Finding Equilibrium on YouTube. We looked at a lot of GTO videos and feel this one defines GTO ideas brilliantly without overwhelming the viewer with GTO charts. Check it out and look for more curated GTO links in future newsletters.

That’s all for now. Please share this newsletter with your poker friends. Plus, think about this: what are you going do to to improve this week? Here's to making every hand count!
